AI Disclaimer — Rules for Using AI Analysis

This document explains how Sentava's automated analysis works, what its results mean, and what limitations apply.

Version: 1.0Effective date: [TO BE COMPLETED]

This document is a working draft prepared for review by a qualified lawyer before Sentava is commercially launched. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as final.

1. How the analysis works

When you submit a Listing link or text, Sentava runs an automated analysis composed of several modules that examine different aspects of the Listing:

  • Price analysis — comparison of the listed price against available market data for similar items.
  • Seller information — review of publicly available information about the seller.
  • Description analysis — review of the wording, claims, and details in the listing description.
  • Consistency checks — comparison between different pieces of information within the Listing to identify inconsistencies.
  • Transaction terms — review of stated payment and delivery conditions.
  • Photo analysis — automated review of publicly available photos included in the Listing.

The outputs of these modules are combined into a single Analysis Result.

2. What the result is not

  • It is not a guarantee of a listing's legitimacy or safety.
  • It is not a certificate of product authenticity.
  • It is not proof that a particular seller is, or is not, acting fraudulently.
  • It is not legal, financial, or professional advice.

3. Limitations and possible errors

Like any automated system, Sentava's analysis can produce false positives (flagging a legitimate listing as risky) and false negatives (failing to flag a listing that is actually risky). Results should be treated as one input among several when evaluating a listing, not as a final verdict.

4. Dependence on data availability

The quality of the Analysis Result depends on the data available at the time of the Check. If a Listing page is incomplete, if market data for comparison is limited, or if an External Platform restricts access to information, the resulting confidence level may be lower, or certain checks may not be possible at all.

5. Photo analysis

Sentava's photo analysis looks for visual signals that may be statistically associated with higher or lower risk (for example, inconsistencies with typical product photos). This analysis does not certify or guarantee the authenticity of the product shown, and does not achieve 100% certainty.

6. Processing by an external AI provider

To perform the analysis, the text of the Listing and the publicly available photos from the Listing are sent to an external AI provider (Lovable AI Gateway, using Google Gemini models) for automated processing. This processing is necessary to generate the Analysis Result.

Please avoid including personal data in listing text you submit, and see our Privacy Policy for more information about this processing.

7. No accusations against sellers

The Analysis Result must not be treated, shared, or published as an accusation, allegation, or public statement that a specific, identifiable seller is engaging in fraud or illegal activity. It is a private, informational tool intended to support the User's own assessment, not a finding of fact about any individual or business.

8. Your responsibility and reporting errors

You remain solely responsible for any decision to proceed with, or refrain from, a purchase or transaction. Sentava's Analysis Result is only one of several factors you should consider.

If you believe an Analysis Result was clearly incorrect or misleading, please report it to sentavakontakt@gmail.com so we can review and, where appropriate, improve the underlying analysis.
