Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) Sentava uses, and why.
This document is a working draft prepared for review by a qualified lawyer before Sentava is commercially launched. It does not constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as final.
1. What are cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Local storage is a similar browser mechanism used to store small amounts of data. Both can be used to remember information about your session or preferences while you use a website.
2. Essential cookies (currently used)
These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality, such as staying logged in and keeping your Account secure.
- Login session cookie — keeps you authenticated while using Sentava and helps protect your Account.
3. Preference cookies (currently used)
These mechanisms remember your choices to improve your experience.
- sentava_locale — stored in your browser to remember your selected display language across visits.
4. Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies are not currently used by Sentava. If introduced in the future, this section will be updated accordingly: TO BE CONFIGURED.
5. Marketing cookies
Marketing or advertising cookies are not currently used by Sentava. If introduced in the future, this section will be updated accordingly: TO BE CONFIGURED.
6. Managing cookies and consequences of disabling them
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies on a per-site basis.
Please note that disabling essential cookies, such as the login session cookie, will prevent you from staying logged in and using core features of Sentava. Disabling the preference cookie will simply reset your language selection to the default.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we introduce new cookies or technologies. The current version number and effective date are shown at the top of this document.
